CKTAN ARCHITECT, formerly known as CTAP ARCHITECTS was established in November 1992 in Johor Bahru, and has been active in developments within Johor Bahru and parts of Malaysia since.

CTAP ARCHITECTS is a Singapore-based practice dedicated to the perfection of architecture. It was previously established in 1987 as Chao Tse Ann & Partners.
The Practice
CKTAN ARCHITECTS, formerly established in November 1992 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia as CTAP ARCHITECTS, and has been active in developments within Johor Bahru and parts of Malaysia since, offering comprehensive architectural consultancy services ranging from conceptual design to contract implementation.
We have an expansive portfolio that includes residential developments (from condominiums to conventional housing), commercial and mixed developments (such as shopping complexes and offices), resorts and clubhouses.
Leveraging on our association with CTAP ARCHITECTS, a company based in Singapore, we are able to increase our resources and expertise to handle a wide variety of projects of differing scales and nature.

We believe that no one can play a symphony alone, and hold teamwork and collaboration as the foundations of success. Working closely with our clients, we ensure that our design solutions not only meet functional needs but make a positive contribution to the built environment and enriching lives. In multidisciplinary teams, we assume the leading role of the architect, coordinating and working closely with project management, other consultants and specialists; and co-leading role with the Builder under the Design and Build System.
